The Results — APIAs in the primaries

Could last Tuesday’s election be a sign of things to come in November?

Though we did see some Asian and Pacific Islander Americans (APIA) advance to the general election, the percentage of the vote APIA candidates garnered could mean that there is a tough road ahead for all of the candidates.

In both King and Pierce Counties, which have APIAs running, the top two candidates who garner the most votes in the primary, regardless of political party, will move forward to the general election in November.
