CISC offers after-school meals

The Chinese Information and Service Center (CISC) announced its sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child and Adult Care Food Program administered by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). Meals will be made available to enrolled children at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, age, or disability. Parental income determines the amount of money OSPI will reimburse institutions to provide meals to enrolled children.

The monthly income-eligibility guidelines listed below are used to determine the reimbursement from OSPI. (end)

Meals will be provided at the CISC After-School Program, 611 S. Lane Street, Seattle. For more information, call 206-624-5633.
