Cathay Post 186 holds annual Memorial Day services

Cathay Post 186 of the American Legion held their annual Memorial Day services in Hing Hay Park on May 27.

The event featured a performance by the Seattle Chinese Girls’ Drill Team, a flag ceremony, and a gun salute.

One of the only chapters in the American Legion founded by Chinese Americans veterans, the Cathay Post was founded in 1945 by David Woo and is a 501c nonprofit organization for veterans. (end)
