Korean Orchestra visits Benaroya Hall, performs

The Daejeon Yeonjeng Municipal Orchestra and Morning Star Korean Cultural Center presented a performance of Korea Fantasy at Benaroya Hall on Monday, April 22 to a near capacity audience. Daejeon and Seattle are sister cities.

The event, which was free to the public, featured traditional Korean folk music and opera, music from traditional Korean instruments, and performances of Korean fan and ribbon dances. (end)
