Vietnamese New Year celebrated at Seattle Center

Tet in Seattle hosted its 16th annual Tet festival in Seattle at the Seattle Center from Feb. 16 to Feb. 17. Tet is the Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration.

The event was presented as part of Seattle Center’s Festál 2013 series, a series of 22 world festivals on weekends throughout the year highlighting the different cultures in the Seattle area.

The event featured cultural entertainment, including dragon dances, martial arts demonstrations, cultural and modern dances, musical performances, and a fashion show and competitions for kids. (end)
