The Seattle chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) was awarded Chapter of the Year at the NAAAP National Convention, which took place on Aug. 23 through Aug. 25. This was the first time they won, beating out 27 other chapters and associate chapters. In addition, they were also recognized for exceptional organizational involvement, membership development, and programming. (end)
