Steve Hobbs and his supporters gathered at the home of Vera and Joey Ing for a last effort to fundraise and garner support for Hobb’s campaign on June 26. While other candidates have spent countless dollars on television ads, Hobbs took a different approach, advertising and enticing voters through direct mail-ins. Hobbs is a Democratic candidate running for a seat in Congress. Hobbs was elected in 2006 and re-elected in 2010 to the Washington State Senate. (end)
