Seattle Chinese Chorus wins silver at World Choir Games

Known as the Olympics of choral music, the World Choir Games hosts participants from many countries who gather for the largest international choral competition in the world. The Seattle Chinese Chorus, a Bellevue-based choir with more than 50 members, was the only choir in the state of Washington to compete in the Games. The choir, which has prepared for 10 months for the Games, performed four songs in a mixed chamber choirs open competition and won a silver medal for their performance. (end)
