Two Seattle activists attend the White House Senior Community Leaders Summit

Joy Chang and Dennis Wulkan of Seattle attended a three-day summit last month in Wash., D.C., with about 100 community activists from around the country. The White House Senior Community Leaders Summit, sponsored by the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare, provides the opportunities for citizens to voice opinions about the future of programs that are critical for seniors. Wulkan, a former assistant regional commissioner for the Social Security Administration, is a volunteer representative to the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. Chang is a former Social Security Administration employee of over 42 years.(end)
