Seattle City Light has scheduled a 20-hour outage that will start June 5 at 11 p.m. and last until about 7 p.m. on June 6. Streetlights and traffic signals will be affected. The general boundaries of the affected area are Jackson Street on the north, Dearborn Street on the south, 5th Avenue on the west, and Maynard Avenue on the east. However, not every building within those boundaries will be affected.
Seattle City Light plans to add an alternate power supply (feeder) to the International District neighborhood to increase the reliability of service. All customers who will be affected have been notified by door-to-door outreach or by mail. (end)
