The Ho Nam Association recently announced its new officers for 2012. They are Sterling Luke, Bettie Luke, Andre Loh, and Marge Young.

The Ho Nam Association, also known as the Luke Family Association, was created in the early 20th century for Chinese immigrants who shared the last name Luke, Luc, Look, Lu, Luu, or Loh.

Today, the Ho Nam Association is located at the Wing Luke Asian Museum, housed in the former East Kong Yick Building, built by Chinese immigrants in 1912. The location is actually the old home of the Ho Nam Association — the former association was housed in the basement of this very same building for decades. (end)
