Chinese vice minister visits Lake Washington Institute of Technology

Dr. Xin Lu, China’s Vice Minister of Education, visited Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWIT) on Nov. 15 with a Chinese delegation to research workforce and technical training programs for use in China.

LWIT is the only school Lu visited on this trip to the United States.

Lu came with her delegation of eight dignitaries, including both the deputy director and division head of the Department of Technical and Adult Education within the Chinese Ministry of Education.

The group also met with Microsoft and Boeing. (end)
