The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders launched its “What’s Your Story?” video challenge. The challenge aims to explore the personal stories of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) across the country who have impacted their community through their dreams, experiences, and dedication to a cause.

To participate, entrants should visit www.whitehouse.gov/webform/whatsyourstory, watch the launch video, and respond with a 3-minute video of their own.

Videos will be accepted in any form, including a music video, PSA, short film, video blog, and interview. In lieu of a video, an essay under 1,000 words may be submitted.

Submissions are due on Nov. 1.

The Initiative will review the submissions and post a select number of entries on the White House website. In addition, it will invite a group of exceptional AAPI leaders to showcase their videos at the White House as special guests of a White House Initiative event. (end)
