July 17: Narayan Gurung and Tay Yoshitani honored at Building Bridges awards ceremony

The Washington State India Trade Relations Action Committee (WASITRAC) honored Port of Seattle CEO Tay Yoshitani and legendary Taekwondo Olympian Narayan Gurung at its second annual Building Bridges Across the Nations awards ceremony at the Northgate Community Center in Seattle.

The event was also the official launching of Nepal Global Trade USA — an organization promoting bilateral trade between the United States and Nepal.

Keynote speaker for the event was Congressman Jim McDermott. The guest of honor was Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Shankar Sharma. ♦
