May: Fred Wong publishes Chinese Art book

Frederic Wong’s book, “Brush Ink Mind, The Practice of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting,” has been published and is available at the University Bookstore Espresso Book Machine and online.

Wong has practiced the art of Chinese calligraphy and painting since childhood. He studied with artist Li Fu-hong of the Lingnan School. Wong’s work ranges from landscape paintings in ink to abstract ‘non-action’ paintings. He has exhibited in the United States and Hong Kong, including a recent solo show at Edmonds Community College, and in “American/Asian” at ArtXchange Gallery and Seattle City Hall.

Wong is also an arts administrator and educator. ♦
