April 12: Local designer Douangphrachanh participates in Indian International Fashion Week

Seattle-based fashion designer Banchong Douangphrachanh was one of three Americans chosen to participate in the Indian International Fashion Week, held in New Delhi. Douangphrachanh, whose work has been featured in pop star Lady Gaga’s “Pokerface” music video, took 20 models with her.

Other Americans who participated in the fashion week included Andres Aquino, based in New York, and Sushma Patel, based in Atlanta. ♦
