Matt Chan
Local Asian American Matt Chan ranks 36 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Reality Power List. Chan, who is president of Screaming Flea Productions (“Hoarders,” “Sell This House,” among many others), is the only person of color on the list. Additionally, Screaming Flea is the only company on the list not based in Los Angeles.
Chan graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science in Speech/Broadcast Communications and Economics. Chan began his career in 1975, where he worked in Public Television in Portland, Ore. He was previously a producer/director with KING-TV. ♦
