March 26: Chinese American Citizen’s Alliance of Seattle raises $2,700 for Japan

The Seattle Lodge (chapter) of the Chinese American Citizen’s Alliance was chartered on March 26 at the New Star Seafood Restaurant. About 70 members attended with 35 new chartering members.

Part of the event included raising funds for Japan earthquake tsunami relief. About $2,700 was received from seven lodges and one donor.

The new lodge is led by President Ming Ming Tung-Edelman, Vice President Mark Eng, Secretary Tracey Yee, Treasurer/Collector May Chan, Sentinel Craig Lee, and Grand Representative Phyllis Lee. ♦
