Medical, Education, and Development of Resources through International Exchange (MEDRIX) held its annual benefit dinner and auction at Overlake Golf and Country Club. The event raised $66,068 to help MEDRIX continue its mission of providing medical resources, international health education, child heart surgeries, and safe drinking water in Southeast Asia.
More than 150 guests attended the event.
As a result of the event, MEDRIX was specifically able to help provide clean water supply for people in Central Vietnam after Typhoon Ketsana created flooding, which damaged or contaminated water sources. ♦
