Thank you for writing a glowing profile of Mr. Hara. I hope however that people will look at the requirements for the position and choose whoever is the most qualified for the position. While I respect the service that Mr.Hara has given this community, I do not believe that he is the best person for this job. His managerial experience that he says he has is from more than 20 years ago. Things have changed since then. I also hope that as a community, we have matured enough not to just vote as a block for someone from our community even though they are not the best for the position.

In my view, Mr. Rosenberger who was an assessor and appraiser in the Assessor's Office for more than 24 years has the best combination of experience and qualifications for this position. Our own representative, Sharon Tomiko Santos is endorsing Mr. Rosenberger and I respect her for going against the grain. I encourage everyone to study all the candidates, look at Mr. Rosenberger's website (www.bobrosenberger.com)and vote on qualifications and not emotions.

The progressive community is split in this race, but we at Fuse are leaning toward Hara who has been a strong progressive leader.
There’s a lot at stake in the this year’s general election. That’s why Fuse Washington and numerous other leading progressive organizations have teamed up once again to publish the online Progressive Voters Guide – a one-stop resource on who and what to vote for if you want to see real progress, rather than devastating regression on issues like fairness, equality (Ref. 71) and the economy (I-1033), in Washington. Get the guide and vote for progress!
