Multicultural women attorneys have a new guide

On June 11, a group of lawyers from various backgrounds worked together to publish a guideline in regards to working in the law profession.

The book, “Dear Sisters, Dear Daughters-Strategies for Success from Multicultural Women Attorneys,” offers a way for accomplished women lawyers to help younger generations.

Comprised of letters from 44 female lawyers, the book is meant to be encouraging and inspiring.

The women come from diverse backgrounds: litigators, transactional lawyers, judges, and law professors. Along with the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Women in the Profession and the ABA Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession, these groups strive to work together to provide helpful guidelines and inspirational words to ensure the future of law professionals. ♦
