Sen. Daniel Akaka
The Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) announced it will present an award to Sen. Daniel Akaka at its third national gala to be held in Washington, D.C. on Sept. 17.
Akaka is receiving the award due to the fact that he has been diligently working in the U.S. Senate for the good of Japanese American veterans for many years. ♦
