The Seattle Chinese Athletic Association (SCAA)celebrated the end of the 2008–2009 basketball season by holding an awards banquet on April 26 at the Tea Palace Restaurant in Renton.

The luncheon ended with a slideshow presentation of all the players, families, and volunteers involved in the basketball clinic program for grades 1–4 and all the recreational basketball teams for grades 5–12.

The slideshow depicted the excitement and camaraderie that comes from their involvement in the various SCAA events throughout the year, including the Al Mar Invitational, Bowling Bash, Portland Invitational, Hoopfest, and the High School 3-on-3 Tournament.

The luncheon marked the end of another successful season of the SCAA, where more than 200 boys and girls and their families came together to honor the accomplishments of the 20 basketball teams, dedicated coaches, and the countless volunteers who helped make the year a great success.
