The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Seattle District Office named James Wong, owner of Avidian Technologies in Redmond, as Washington State’s Minority Small Business Champion.

An independent panel of judges selected winners in various categories based on several criteria, including staying power, business growth, increase in employees, response to adversity, innovation, leadership and contributions to the small business community, and showing evidence of community-oriented projects.
Wong and his fellow winners will be honored on April 23 at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall at Seattle Center.
