Honoring a civic leader

On Aug. 26, Minister Wu Ying-yih with the Overseas Compatriot Affairs Commission R.O.C. visited Seattle. He was representing the president of Taiwan in honoring the late Ruby Chow for her contribution to the KMT. Chow was a restaurateur and a trailblazer for Asian American rights. She served three terms as a King County councilwoman. Chow passed away on June 4 of this year. ♦
